Taking Direction from your Photographer on Your Wedding Day

This picture looks like we are just hanging out talking, right?

This is me showing the bride Laura what I want her to do in our next series of pictures during her wedding portraits at Sebasco Harbor Resort.

I believe in visually giving people direction for pictures, always!

Just like in dance we learn better by seeing not just hearing. Something funky happens in our minds - between hearing words of what to do with your body - and then actually doing it. Unless one is a professional dancer or athlete, which I only have shot a few of those, the rest of us need direction. And direction is what I give. Years of my dance training and my enthusiasm for getting great shots is one thing I believe that separates me from many other photographers. Dance is like doing "posed "* pictures in that there are still moments and fluid moments. Body placement and language say so much. To make a portrait of a bride and groom worth a thousand words body placement is muy importante! And don't worry taking pictures is MUCH more simple than learning to dance and is not complicated at all. I look forward to taking your photos!
