So you’ve identified a number of your favorite images in your gallery and now you want to purchase different products. Here’s how to order prints and other products. As a reminder, image/product consultation with me is always available as part of the photo session package. So let’s begin.

Step 1. Make sure you are the administrator. Each gallery has one person identified as the administrator with special access privileges. For a wedding gallery, this would be the bride (who naturally deserves special privileges!) or sometimes it’s the mom who is helping organize the logistics of the momentous day. If you have a family portrait gallery, the administrator is usually the person who originally contacted me to book the session.

Step 2. Log in to the Gallery with your password and access code. On the left side of the Gallery home page will be a list of your favorites, along with folders for labeled pictures. In addition to your favorites, we will have created up to six categories of labels. These might be labeled “Ones for Mom” or “Yearbook” or “Holiday cards”.

Step 2.5. In case you forgot about labeling images, let’s step aside for a moment. At the bottom left of each individual image is the option to “LABEL” the photo. A window will pop up with the list of categories we created for you. You can then choose one or all of the label categories for each image. Now let’s go back to your favorites page.

Step 3. Pick the image you want to purchase. Go into your desired folder and click on an image. On the top right of the page with that image is a button to “BUY PHOTO”. When you click on that button, a menu will drop down with different choices: prints, digital negatives, or specialty products like canvas or metal prints. Remember, prints are those photos that you can put into a frame, digital negatives are the high resolution digital downloads of the image, and canvas/metal are the different mediums to have the image printed on.

Step 4. Choose how you want the image reproduced. At that time, you will have the option to edit/crop the image and tailor it to the specific product you’re purchasing. When you’re done edit/cropping the image, click on the button “ADD TO CART”. Repeat this process as often as you’d like with any of your favorite images. When you’re ready, proceed to Step 5.

Step 4.5. Regarding canvases. When you choose canvas, the image itself is wrapped around the internal frame. This reduces the actual image surface. Should you want a canvas, please remember that the front view of the image is essentially smaller because some of it wraps around the sides of the frame. If you’re edit/cropping the image, make sure no one’s important parts are cut off as part of the wrapped surface!

Step 5. Click on your shopping cart at the top of the webpage.  The summary of your purchases will open in a new page. This is your opportunity to add the PROMO CODE for the discount. Don’t forget, if you have a products credit from the package you purchased, enter the PROMO CODE that I emailed you right after the gallery was posted online. This code may also be from the special pricing opportunity announcement I send out periodically. You can enter only one code.

Step 6. Click CHECK OUT. At this time, you can select “Ship to Me” or “I’ll Pick Up”. If shipping the prints to yourself, there are three options: no cost for digital downloads or select either USPS Priority or UPS 3-day Ground.

Be sure to add any special requests by clicking the “+Add Note to Studio” link. In that box for instance, you can request that I photoshop out any blemishes or the random car in the background or even add the button that went missing halfway through the photo shoot (like happened for my nephew).

Finally, Step 7. In case you have any questions about the products before you PLACE ORDER, or you are unsure about the promo code credit or can’t find the email, no need to worry. Just select the “PAY LATER” option. Selecting “Pay Later” means I will contact you to talk about your concerns. You’ll then receive an invoice from me to pay online or installments.

Thank you for sharing your photo session with me. It’s a pleasure to be sure you have memories that can last a lifetime!
