Our 4th of July!

Our 4th of July, my Lucia and I went out with Matt and his parents on their family boat on Thompson Lake. I brought enough photo gear to do a serious shoot and food to eat for days. I used the underwater housing for my d700 and in between gulping up huge lake waves I got a lot of shots. I forgot how difficult it is to tread water in the middle of a lake with wind and other boat waves while carrying a 5 pound camera! I then put on a life jacket but that made it more difficult to get fully underwater and shoot. But I managed! I love Maine lakes and the light shooting underwater.
