Bridal Portraits: What to Expect

Do you know what it is like to be photographed all day long?

Chances are unless you are a pop star or have been married already, you do not.
So if you are planning your wedding and you are thinking about your photography, can you close your eyes picture what kind of images there will be of you taken on your day?

Seriously, try it!

Close your eyes and imagine what you as a bride might look like, and if this a groom, imagine photos of your bride.

I am often sought out for candid photography. And to help you envision an example of candid portraits, especially if you have hired me to photograph your wedding....I have examples to share with you.
I have selected 26 portraits of a bride from a set of 200 wedding photographs that included her from her Bailey Island wedding. Of these 26 images shown, only 3 is she entirely focused on having her portrait taken, 1/2 are in the posed scenario but even then she is in the moment with those around her. The rest are natural moments. So please go ahead and take a look and envision your pictures.

What I want to do for you on your wedding day is give to you beautiful pictures of you being you. Whether you are as silly as Meghan, or not, it is you being uniquely you that I want to capture. What quality Meghan has that most people who hire me is, she told me she was not a huge fan of being photographed. For most people it is not natural. But after a little time on a wedding day or a shoot with me, most people find they don't even notice they are being photographed.

Thank you Meghan for hiring me photograph you and sharing your face with the world!

Now that you have seen these images, please get in touch share what you envision for yourself or your special someone!
