Biddeford Pool Wedding

It was truly my pleasure to cover Charlie & Katherine's wedding this September. Charlie had become a friend of mine during our time spent on the Alma Cubana Salsa Team. I recall when Charlie started to talk about Katherine and when she would occasionally show up at our events and performances. Charlie and Katherine's wedding took place at a uniquely special location, a family farm in Biddeford Pool which has extraordinarily maintained its natural beauty while surrounded by development. Charlie and Katherine met dancing--and not only does Charlie salsa dance, he also likes to Contra Dance. This is a common ground that they both enjoy. There was a lot of DIY at this wedding. I may have never experienced such a laid back and loving wedding in all my career of documenting weddings. Katherine 's dress, hair, and bouquet looked perfect against the wallpaper in the farmhouse where she got ready.

Children were not excluded from this wedding, and here is a little tribute to their lovely spirits.
