Dallas & Sarah's LL Bean Surprise Engagement Shoot

Several days before Dallas planned to ask Sarah to marry him he asked me if I did surprise engagement shoots. I said why yes indeed! I love these shoots. We texted and coordinated how, when, and where it would happen. Dallas wanted to take Sarah to the Northern Lights at LL Beans, propose, and then take her out to dinner where their family would there happily waiting for them. It was pretty cold that evening we planned the shoot and LL BEans was quite crowded despite being a Sunday night. I brought my Freeport Highschool assistant, asked her to wear something cute so I could pretend to take pictures of her while Dallas and Sarah arrived, and then Sarah wouldn't suspect anything. :) Well we saw them coming, Sarah, a bright blond dressed in black just as Dallas described. Dallas waited until the area was clear of people, which took a while. I was getting nervous that Sarah would catch on. But apparently, she didn't! Not long after Dallas got down on one knee Sarah burst into tears, I of course started crying as well, and between the fog in my glasses and water in eyes I kept shooting and praying for accuracy! I remember wishing I had windshield wipers on my eyes! Sarah says it was the best night of her life. WAY TO GO DALLAS! She also said shortly after the ring on, "does this mean we can get a dog!" A girl after my own heart.❤️
