Image Products You Can Order Now in time for Christmas!
Good News! Even though the gift giving season upon us, there is still time to turn some of your favorite portrait and wedding images into special gifts for family and friends. Whether you’re just getting started on your list, or you have nearly everything in hand already, a picture is always a priceless present!
(Important Note: For delivery by 12/22/17, the deadline for ordering most items described here is Tuesday, 12/12/17, although prints can be ordered as late as Monday, 12/18/17.) Any other deadlines please contact us.
Mini cottage prints. A fun way to extend your decorative style beyond the frames offered by local gift shops, the cottage print is a mounted image with no glass and no matting embraced by a beveled wooden frame. You can still order a 2x3 white framed cottage print and have it before reindeer are prancing on the roof! (See a sample below)
Metals. A super long lasting, modern look can be found with metal prints. Your image is dyed onto sturdy aluminum and then covered with a special protective coating. There’s no frame for these shiny prints and they are easy to set up or hang. Metals work wonderfully with black and white photos or images with rich color. 5x7 and 8x10 easel back metal prints are great for portraits; if you have a favorite photo that includes a view of the environment surrounding you or your family--the beach, the woods, the farm--consider a larger size with a back mounting. Mini accordians. A mini accordian is a photo-wrapped square 3x3 “booklet” that folds open to showcase up to ten favorite images. The ten images includes the front and back covers, with eight more inside, covering front and back of the folds. The mini accordian comes with magnetic closures and a slipcover, which makes it the perfect gift for parents and grandparents to carry in a purse or briefcase to show off! (See a sample below)
Framed prints. Framed and matted prints are always a great go-to present, even for yourself! Portraits display well in 5x7 or 8x10, with double matting and a frame in your choice of colors. If you have one of those pictures that you absolutely love, like the candid one of your children between poses, I recommend an 11x14 size print set into a 16x20 frame. To make a statement with your print, you can’t go wrong with a 16x20 image in a 20x24 frame. (See a sample below)
Don’t forget that all framed and matted prints 8x10 or larger come with its corresponding digital negative. That means you can make as many other prints as you want on your own--like the wallet prints you add to your holiday card mailings!
