Family Beach Session in Phippsburg Maine

I photographed this lovely family the first weekend in May at Head Beach in Phippsburg Maine. Head beach allows dogs on the beach and this family is all about their little dogs! The occasion for the shoot? Well, Danielle, mom of two awesome boys was graduating from nursing school and her family from the Cape was coming up to celebrate! The funny thing was that later that same day I was driving to the Cape for a shoot. The shoot was at 9:30 am, I followed Danielle being driven by her oldest son, from the Center store in Phippsburg who recently got his permit. We were going a little zippy and it made sense when I saw a teenage boy step out of the car! All the family was in good spirits after having a lobster breakfast! Daniele's youngest son sported rolling his shorts up, for no other reason than he just wanted to. My child does stuff like that too, so we went with it!  In fact, his brother joined in. Danielle wanted mostly candid photos and here is what we got from our beach time together in what was one of the first nice spring days in Maine. Here are a few of the shots.
